What Voyager is

The operating system your staff already run.

Meridian Voyager is the live CRM and back-office workspace. A public donation page already takes gifts and posts them to the right fund. The new website product is Meridian Starboard, a standalone rewrite, not a rename of this one.

What is live on Voyager

The workspace your team logs into every day. Giving, grants, volunteers, cases, events, board, people, and communications. Plus a public donation page that already takes gifts.

What is not this product

A self-serve website with the Office already wired. That is Meridian Starboard: a new codebase, overlapping modules, its own product page. Keep Voyager if you want the live CRM. Choose Starboard if you want the website.

Every module in the third column is live in the Voyager workspace today. The public donation page already takes gifts and designates them to the fund you pick. Other public website forms belong to Meridian Starboard, the new website product.

This table is the operating system. The left column that is a full website is Meridian Starboard, not a later Voyager feature.

Two products

Voyager is the CRM. Starboard is the website.

They share a family and some of the same jobs. They are not the same product. Starboard is a new rewrite, a standalone website plus Office, not a later version of this page.

Meridian Voyager, live today

The nonprofit CRM and operating system. Giving with fund accounting, the grant finder and AI grant writer, volunteers with clearances, cases, events, board, people, insurance, the store, and communications. A public donation page already takes gifts. $99 a month.

Meridian Starboard, new product

A fresh codebase. Six questions, a website, and the Office already wired. Overlapping modules (giving, events, volunteers, board), different product. Free to start. Paid through the donation page. Not a rename of Voyager.

Already have a site you like? Keep it. The Voyager donation page is live and links from any website you already run.

Live · Donor stewardship Live

Stewardship that keeps donors giving.

Your donate button is only worth what happens after the click. More than a contact list. Track every gift, pledge, and recurring donation, then let Meridian tell you who to thank and who to reach next. Built on the donor lifecycle, not a sales funnel.

  • Gift, pledge, and recurring giving tracking, organized by fund, with soft credits for the people behind a gift.
  • Gift batches, matching gifts, and in-kind donations with AI intake, so every kind of giving lands in the same ledger.
  • A public donation page that feeds your donor pipeline directly, with giving reports that roll up by fund.
  • Households that roll family giving into one view, so you steward the relationship, not just the record.
  • Automatic thank-you receipts and year-end tax statements your donors need, sent without the busywork.
  • LYBUNT and SYBUNT lists that surface lapsed donors automatically, so the ones slipping away are easy to win back.
  • Smart Nudges that tell you which donors to reach today: birthdays, lapses, and gifts still waiting on a thank-you.

The contact form on your site opens the record, and everything after it stays attached. A clean, fast system of record for the people and organizations you work with. Filter by status, owner, or source, and see every email, call, and note attached to the right person.

  • Contacts and companies linked together, with owners and titles.
  • Activity log that captures every interaction automatically.

Live · Grant Finder + AI Grant Writer New

$109 billion in grants. Found, matched, written.

Foundations gave out $109 billion last year, and most small nonprofits never hear about the grants sitting in their own backyard. The problem was never that the list is hard to buy. It is that nobody reads it for you. Meridian Voyager keeps a working catalog of 12,543 funders built from 130,346 IRS filings, then does the part that actually takes your week: it reads your mission once, tells you which of them fit and why, and drafts the application.

  • Matched, not just listed: 12,543 corporate, community, family, and government grant-makers across all 50 states, each carrying typical grant sizes, how-to-apply details, and deadline windows pulled from the funders' own filings. We are not selling you the biggest database, we are selling you the shortlist out of it. Hand-verified entries are badge-marked.
  • Recommended for you: fill in your profile once and Voyager ranks the whole catalog against your mission and location, with a plain reason on every match, so a youth mental-health nonprofit sees youth mental-health money.
  • AI writes the draft: the same profile powers funder-specific letters of intent, proposal narratives, and budget narratives, so drafting stops being the reason you skip the grant.
  • Federal too, and one click to pipeline: search the live Grants.gov listing from the same screen, and save any funder straight into your grants workflow, tracked end to end.

Live · Communications

Send branded email that actually lands.

Compose from reusable templates, drop in merge fields, and let the queue handle delivery. Connect your domain so email lives in your workspace, not a staff member's personal inbox. A built-in phone system is on the way for the calls that still matter.

  • Branded email with a clean wrapper and saved templates.
  • Email that stays with the org, connect your domain and every message and contact stays in the workspace when people come and go.
  • Send queue that paces delivery and logs every send.
  • Phone system Coming soon: pick a number, auto-attendant, voicemail with transcription, and full call history on the contact.

Live · Scheduling & bookings

Let people book the right time, on the first try.

Put a booking link on any page of your site. Share a clean booking link and let prospects, donors, and volunteers pick a slot that fits everyone's calendar. No back and forth, no double-booking.

  • Calendly-style links for intros, demos, and check-ins.
  • Multi-host booking and round-robin across your team.
  • Google Calendar sync reads busy times and writes events.
  • Availability rules, ICS attachments, and reminder emails.

Live · Projects, tasks & knowledge

A lightweight PMO and a single source of truth.

Plan the work on a simple roadmap, track what is yours, and keep the answers your team needs in one searchable place, with a public help center for the people you serve.

  • Roadmap board to move work from backlog to done.
  • My tasks view so nothing assigned to you slips.
  • Trash with restore, so a delete is never the end.
  • Knowledge base: internal docs plus a public help center.

Get it signed, then keep it safe.

Send any agreement for legally binding e-signature right from a contact or deal, then file the executed copy in a searchable vault. No separate signing tool, no contracts scattered across inboxes and drives.

  • Legally binding signing, ESIGN- and UETA-compliant, with recorded signer consent on every document.
  • Type or draw a signature from a private signer link, no account required to sign.
  • Certificate of completion with a full audit trail and a tamper-evident hash on the final PDF.
  • Contract vault with renewal reminders, role-based access, and AES-256 encryption on SOC 2 Type II hosting.

Built for nonprofits

Built for the staff who run the organization.

Every nonprofit needs books that satisfy an auditor, donors who stay, and a workspace that outlives the volunteer who set it up. Voyager is that operating system. The website is Meridian Starboard.

Need a website? That is Starboard

Meridian Starboard is the new website plus Office product. A rewrite, not a rename. Overlapping modules, its own codebase. Open the Starboard page.

Email, set up for you

We guide you through Google Workspace for Nonprofits so your team gets real @yourcause.org email free, or connect your domain to Meridian directly so every message and contact stays in your workspace, not in a volunteer's personal inbox when they move on.

Native fund accounting

Every fund and grant in its own bucket, grant tracking, donor management, and Form 990 prep, built into the books rather than bolted on after.

Donor trust, by design

Isolated workspaces, full audit trails, and least-privilege access protect the donor and beneficiary data your supporters trust you with.

Plus free Google tools, set up for you

Once Google verifies your 501(c)(3) status through Google for Nonprofits, your whole team gets Google Workspace free, including custom @yourcause.org email, Google Meet, Google Calendar, and Drive. We connect it to Meridian for you.
